1947 Foundation of the firm on the 29th October 1947 by Emile EGGER
1948 World patent for the first pump with NDPD impeller capable to handle aerated liquids such as paper pulp. This impeller was made under licence ba WEISE-MONSKI,INGERSOLL-RAND and EGGER Italia.
1949 First Elbow-Propeller pump type RPD sold to ESCHER-WYSS.
1950 LAMORT France and LICAR Spain take the licence for the NDPD impeller.
1958 World patent for the first pump with the TURO® vortex impeller.
1962 Presentation of the first IRIS diaphragm control valve. FLYGT takes the licence for the TURO® impeller.
1964 World patent for a variable hydraulic with four different impellers in the same pump casing T, TW, TE and TS.
1965 Second generation of IRIS diaphragm control valve.
1966 Mr. W.K.Egger, son of Emile EGGER, entered the firm.
1973 Introduction of our new three-channel impeller, series D.
1976 Development of the second generation TURO® pumps.
1980 Death of the founder Emile EGGER on the 8th July 1980.
1982 World patent for the new TURO® impeller.
1985 Development of the new generation EGGER pumps with E/EO/EOS impeller for aerated liquids.
1990 Mr. M.Grimm, grandson of Emile EGGER, enters the firm.
1992 Presentation of our hydrodynamic seal Euro-Dyn® and the Varioseal® system.
1993 First pump-turbine set installed at Perlen CH.
1994 Granting of the ISO 9001 certificate.
1996 European patent for flow measurement and regulation with the IRIS valve.
1998 First high temperature pump (450ºC) for recycling plastics.
1999 First re-circulation pump of Jet-Reactor for hydrogenation at 100 bars and 350ºC.
2001 First vertical Cantilever pump in Nickel for the production of NaOH at 450ºC.
2002 Granting of the ISO 14001 certificate.
