Swiss quality from A to Z at Egger – from Design, through Engineering, and on to Testing. Only the pouring of the pump body is carried out by an external foundry but using foundry patterns that we ourselves produce. All individual parts and especially the challenging impellers are machined in our machining centres and on numerous other special machines until they are ready for assembly. On the way to final acceptance, the pumps, which can weigh up to several tons, progress through sandblasting, painting, assembly and testing to the shipping room.

With about 20 apprentice positions, Egger Pumps is one of the larger vocational trainers in the Neuenburg canton. A generously equipped training workshop with a comprehensive selection of machines is available for the basic training of polymechanics. In the workshop itself, future professionals gain confidence in the numerous production steps. Many of the apprentices will, after completion of their training, be hired as polymechanics for our own production facilities.

At Egger Pumps, four to five young persons are also in training for the sales profession. In the course of their training, these trainees move through all administrative departments and thereby receive broadly diversified knowledge.
