Egger has, from the very start, used a thick-walled blade profile that guarantees high endurance, even in the presence of abrasive fluids. Proven in numerous crystallisation and vaporisation plants, worldwide.
An additional special feature is the elongated blade profile that provides the axial impeller with high suction capability (lower NPSHR value), gentle transport and good abrasion resistance. Advantages that plant designers and operators alike appreciate.
A modified, fibre-repellent profile at the blade leading edge makes it possible to use it with fibrous fluids – typically, for example, in wastewater technology for the circulation of recirculated sludge.
Four welded blades arranged on the propeller head sphere assure a quiet run with the least amount of hydraulic imbalance. Axial flow pumps are almost always run continuously for more than 24 hours: That is why high efficiency and vibration-free operation are the main demands that Egger fulfils with its proven and optimised hydraulics.
